"Alpha
Pi Alpha was founded on September 29,
1952, when the entire membership of the Gamma Chapter of Kappa Delta Rho
resigned from that national fraternity. This resignation was prompted by
what the Gamma chapter felt was racial and religious discrimination
practices by the national organization.
Alpha Pi Alpha kept many of the fine ideals of Kappa Delta Rho,
and added many of its own". We
of Alpha Pi Alpha are proud to say our fraternity stands for the highest
of ideals, human rights, and of course brotherhood. |
